Job Description:

 This is a full-time, on-site role located in Switzerland for a Pumps Factory Manager. The Pumps Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing production planning, ensuring quality control, and managing all aspects of production and operations within the factory. Daily tasks will include coordinating manufacturing operations, optimizing processes, and supervising staff to ensure efficient and productive operations. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining health and safety standards within the factory.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:
  • Oversee daily operations, including production planning, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Staff Management:
  • Hire, train, and supervise production employees, including assemblers, equipment operators, and other relevant personnel.
  • Quality Control:
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure finished goods meet established standards.
  • Cost Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring proper storage and handling.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and sales, to meet production targets and customer demands.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare and present production reports to senior management, detailing key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

A pump electrician is responsible for the electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps and related equipment, including motors, controls, and related systems, in various settings like pump stations, wastewater facilities, or industrial settings. Their duties include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components, ensuring proper functioning of pumps and related equipment, and adhering to safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, circuitry, and components related to pumps and associated equipment. 

  • Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in pumps, motors, control systems, and other related equipment. 

  • Preventative Maintenance:

Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the reliable operation of electrical systems. 

  • Safety Compliance:

Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and manufacturer guidelines. 

  • Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, repair details, and material usage. 

  • Equipment Operation:

Operating and utilizing various tools and equipment, such as multimeters, meggers, and power tools, for diagnosis and repair. 

  • Communication and Collaboration:

Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other personnel regarding work progress, issues, and safety concerns. 

  • Emergency Response:

Responding to emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment malfunctions, to restore functionality and minimize downtime. 

  • Adherence to Regulations:

Ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations related to electrical systems and equipment. 

  • Coordination:

Coordinating with other teams, such as those involved in plumbing or mechanical work, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. 

  • Inventory Management:

Maintaining an inventory of necessary electrical components and materials for repairs and replacements.

Qualifications:
